The Plano West Wolves will face off against the Plano Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Plano West will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Friday, Plano West was able to grind out a solid win over Rock Hill, taking the game 9-4.
Kendall Prowell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up four earned runs off ten hits. Prowell was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Beetle Nell was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooke Reasoner, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Plano West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they’ve now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there’s no place like home for Plano, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Princeton on Friday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Plano got a massive performance out of Aubrey Zhang, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Riley Miles was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Plano West’s win bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for Plano, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9-1.
Plano West was able to grind out a solid win over Plano in their previous meeting on March 3rd, winning 7-4. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We’ll find out soon enough.
