Houston police are investigating a reported shooting at a house party, with multiple emergency calls and injuries unconfirmed.

HOUSTON — Police are investigating a reported shooting in north Houston that may have happened during a house party Saturday night, according to early information from the Houston Police Department.

The incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. on Parkes Street near Dolly Wright Street and West Montgomery Road.

According to HPD dispatch, there are multiple call slips tied to the incident, indicating several people may have been involved or injured. Officials say the situation remains fluid and details could change as the investigation develops.

Investigators believe the shooting may have taken place during an ongoing house party that quickly dispersed when gunfire broke out.

Authorities also said multiple victims called for help from a nearby fire station and police station, which contributed to the number of emergency calls.

It is not yet clear if anyone was shot, how many people were injured, or the extent of their conditions.

No suspect information has been released.

This is a developing story. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
