LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – While the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest profits from every Texas Tech sack, Saturday night must have felt like Christmas. The Red Raiders sacked the Jayhawks an astonishing nine times during their 42-17 homecoming win, breaking a school record for Tech, last set in 1993. On the FBS level, nine sacks is also the highest single-game total this season, only accomplished by two other programs so far.
