Electrical issue suspected in duplex fire; two residents hospitalized

SAN ANTONIO – Two people were hospitalized after a duplex caught fire on Saturday night.

The fire started around 9:00 p.m. in the Beacon Hill neighborhood near Rosewood Ave and Aganier Ave.

According to the San Antonio Fire Department, the fire started outside and was quickly contained before it was able to spread throughout the duplex.

Two residents were taken to the hospital as a precaution; one resident had a small burn on their hand.

The fire was believed to have been caused by electrical issues.
