Dallas police have identified a capital murder suspect in a 2023 shooting.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of 26-year-old Arnold Sustaita Zapata.
DPD released a photo and described Zapata as 6’2” tall, 260 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.
Zapata is wanted for the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Juvenal Antero on December 30, 2023.

According to the initial report, suspects forced their way inside Antero’s apartment in the 400 block of S. Saint Augustine Drive.
In the days after the shooting, Antero’s family told NBC 5 he was shot in front of his pregnant wife and 4-year-old son.
In January of 2024, DPD asked for the public’s help in identifying three people captured on surveillance video running from the location and leaving in a red vehicle.
