SAN ANTONIO – A 30-year-old man is in custody, accused of kidnapping and assaulting a woman in an attack described in a police affidavit.
According to the affidavit, the woman was trying to leave the home of Brandon Ray Richards when he ran outside naked and chased after her.
Investigators say Richards grabbed her and carried her back inside, where she reported he began to strangle her and sexually assaulted her multiple times.
After about two hours, the woman was able to escape and run away, according to the affidavit. Once she got home, she called the police.
Richards is charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.
