LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – We wrapped up the weekend with sunshine, gusty winds and warmer temperatures for the South Plains.
Lubbock’s high temperature was 86 degrees, almost 15 degrees above normal for late March.
Looking ahead to Monday, fire danger will remain elevated, winds gusty at times and even a slim chance of some isolated showers in the afternoon.

As we exit March and move in to April we’ll continue with a chance of showers, maybe storms later in the week and more wind to deal with through the middle of the week.
