It didn’t take long for Tiger Woods’ mugshot to make the rounds after being arrested Friday and charged with DUI.
DUI investigators were called to the scene to perform roadside tests on Woods after he was involved in a rollover accident, and police on scene determined Woods was impaired. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Martin County Jail, where he remained until late Friday night. Once at the jail, a breathalyzer test determined that alcohol was not involved, but Woods refused to take a urine test. He was booked into jail on charges of DUI, property damage and refusal to submit a lawful test.
And on Saturday, fans showed up to the Texas Children’s Houston Open with Woods’ mugshot on white t-shirts with “#FreeTiger” printed beneath the photo.
After his 2017 arrest for DUI, Woods’ mugshot made the rounds and quickly found it way on t-shirts, signs and more at events he competed in. Fans did the same for Scottie Scheffler after his incident at the 2024 PGA Championship.
And for a group of fans at Memorial Park, they didn’t waste time doing the same with Woods.

Woods has not made a statement since his arrest Friday, and his status for the 2026 Masters is even more up in the air now after all signs pointed to him aiming to pay at Augusta National next month. Earlier this week, he played TGL for the first time in more than a year after an Achilles injury last March and another back surgery in October. Earlier Friday, it was confirmed Woods registered for the 2026 U.S. Senior Open but was not in the field yet.
Numerous figures from across the world reacted to Woods’ arrest in the recent days, from President Donald Trump to fellow golfers and others.
