The Pottery Barn Outlet in Arlington is closing after nearly seven years in business along Interstate 20, but it will reopen at its “forever home” later this year.

The store near Matlock Road is expected to close in May. It has operated in Arlington since June 2019, previously at another location just to the east.

The news comes after the opening of a new location in Grapevine was announced early March. The new location is expected to open this spring, according to an Instagram post: “This May, we are moving from our location in Arlington to our forever home in Grapevine.”

Shoppers can expect to find a wide variety of discounted items including furniture, decor, bedding, lighting and kitchen-dining.

The merchandise at the soon-to-be old location will be moved into the new retail space at the Grapevine Towne Center, the shopping center anchored by Target near Texas 114.

In August 2025, owners Fairbourne Properties and AEW Capital Management completed a $30 million revitalization plan of the 714,935-square-foot open-air shopping center. The plan included “public park space, blending nature, leisure, and community.”
