As March ends and April begins, UTA Athletics continues competition.

Here’s the schedule for Tuesday to April 6.

Baseball

UTA baseball begins its conference schedule this weekend, taking on Tarleton State University in a three-game series. The games will be at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday. All games will take place at Clay Gould Ballpark and will be available to stream on ESPN+.

Softball

The UTA softball team continues its conference slate this weekend, going on the road against Utah Valley University for a three-game set. Games will be at 3 and 5:30 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.

All games will be played at Wolverine Softball Field in Orem, Utah, and will be available to stream on ESPN+.

Men’s wheelchair basketball

The Movin’ Mavs are the No. 4 seed in the men’s National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball tournament. As a top-four team in the 12-team bracket, UTA will get a first-round bye.

Its first matchup will be at noon Thursday against the winner of the game between No. 5 University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and No. 12 University of Michigan.

The tournament will decide the 2026 national champion and will be played at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Women’s wheelchair basketball

The Lady Movin’ Mavs are the No. 2 seed in the women’s national tournament. UTA’s first matchup will be against No. 3 The University of Arizona at 6 p.m. Thursday.

If UTA wins, it will head to the national championship at 1 p.m. Saturday against the winner of the game between No. 1 The University of Alabama and No. 4 Illinois. If UTA loses, it will head to the third-place game against the loser of the same matchup.

The tournament will decide the 2026 national champion and will be played at the McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Track and field

UTA track and field will compete in the four-day 2026 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The meet begins with the women’s heptathlon at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and ends with the 4×400-meter relays at 4:05 p.m. Saturday.

The event will be hosted by UT Austin at the Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium in Austin, Texas.

Women’s tennis

UTA women’s tennis plays one match this week, going on the road to take on Abilene Christian University at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Judi and Cecil Eager Tennis Pavilion in Abilene, Texas.

Men’s golf

UTA men’s golf will compete in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Tuesday and Wednesday at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona. The meet is hosted by the University of Wyoming.

Women’s golf

UTA women’s golf will finish the University of Louisiana at Monroe’s ULM Invitational on Tuesday at Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe, Louisiana.
