UT Health San Antonio has been recognized as a regional leader in healthcare, ranking in first place across numerous specialties in the 2026 YourSA San Antonio Express-News Readers’ Choice Awards.
These top rankings span UT Health San Antonio’s medical group, orthopaedics, dentistry, asthma and allergy, ophthalmology, pediatrics and primary care practices — underscoring the community’s trust in UT San Antonio’s comprehensive care.

UT Health San Antonio also earned a second‑place ranking in the cosmetic or plastic surgery practice category, and the UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital captured third place, reflecting the community’s confidence in the recently opened hospital.
