A Dallas police officer turned herself in Monday in connection with an outstanding warrant for harassing a public servant in DeSoto, according to a statement.
Toriana Edwards, who is assigned to the department’s Southeast Patrol Division, has been with the department since September 2023, according to authorities..
Edwards was placed on administrative leave while the department conducts an internal investigation, the statement said.
The Dallas Morning News contacted DeSoto police Monday night for further details surrounding Edwards’s charges but did not immediately hear back.
