Another Portillo’s is coming to North Texas, landing in Dallas city limits for the first time

Portillo’s has announced their first location within the Dallas city limits opening March 31, 2026.

The restaurant known for its Italian Beef Sandwiches and Chicago-style Hot Dogs is coming to the intersection of Dallas Parkway and Spring Valley Road, just north of the Galleria mall.

In a release, the restaurant company says this location will “feature Portillo’s ‘Restaurant of the Future’ design, with seating for about 120 guests indoors and 40 guests on the patio.”

WFAA had previously reported that Portillo’s sales had cooled after rapid expansion in the DFW region, but decided to push forward with expansion anyway.

The Far North Dallas location is the 10th to open in North Texas and 20th across the state. The next location announced will be at the DFW airport, which is “coming soon” according to the Portillo’s website.
