Richardson police identified the man who was found lying in the eastbound lanes of President George Bush Highway service road in early March as 61-year-old Manuel Eloy Mejia Medina.
Officers received and responded to multiple calls about a man, identified as Medina, lying in the road near Waterview Parkway at about 1:45 p.m. on March 2, according to a previous statement.
Once there, officers found Medina with severe injuries, the statement said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined Medina was a passenger in a pickup truck traveling eastbound when he exited the moving vehicle and struck the ground.
