Tiger Woods’ favorite mini-golf chain is expanding once again on the green in Central Texas. PopStroke has announced the grand-opening date for its second Austin-area putt putt course, opening its doors to Texans next month. 

Cedar Park, a suburb about 20 miles north of Austin, will be welcoming its first PopStroke at 9 a.m. on April 21, according to a news release. To celebrate the grand opening, the course will be having special giveaways and perks for early guests. 

“Texas continues to be one of the most exciting markets for PopStroke as we grow,” Greg Bartoli, founder and CEO of PopStroke, said in the release. “The success of our Austin location showed us what’s possible here. Cedar Park represents the evolution of that, delivering a more complete experience with our latest technology, full-service dining and spaces designed for guests of all ages to spend time together.”

The first 10 people in line will get free golf for a year and the first 100 customers through the doors will get complimentary crispy chicken sandwiches with the purchase of golf. The opening marks yet another major expansion in one of PopStroke’s fastest-growing markets.

PopStroke Cedar Park will feature two 18-hole mini-golf courses enhanced by elevated technology, including interactive screens on every hole, the company detailed. Guests can also use the proprietary scoring technology to track their game through the PopStroke app, order food and have beverages delivered directly to them on the course.

Through its partnership with Tiger Woods’ TaylorMade golf brand, visitors will play with a premium co-branded putter, receive a TaylorMade ball, and have the option to upgrade to a Spider putter. 

The venue is also fit with PopStroke’s full-service restaurant and bar, BarTenders, offering a chef-driven menu, craft cocktails, beer, and indoor and outdoor dining spaces overlooking the greens, along with an on-site ice cream parlor. BarTenders will feature weekly specials Monday through Friday tailed for locals to visit for lunch, happy hour, or a night out.

Beyond golf, there will also be an outdoor playground and games like cornhole and ping pong, creating an environment for guests of all ages to play, dine and spend time together. The venue will also be hosting an open house preview April 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the public to tour the venue, pre-register for a monthly membership and enjoy a variety of free perks.

The golf courses and restaurant will not be open for play or service during the preview weekend. Guests who sign up for a membership, offering unlimited mini golf and a 20% discount on food and drinks, will also receive a special gift.
