SAN ANTONIO – New details have emerged about the body found last weekend as crews battled a brush fire on the East Side.
Firefighters were called out around 7:30 a.m. on March 29 to an area off Rigsby Avenue near Algin Avenue after a passerby saw a fire in the ditch.

The police report says that while crews were putting out the fire, they discovered a human body wrapped in a jacket or shower curtain. Also, the person was “bound by his hands.”
The Bexar County Medical Examiner is working to find a cause of death and the identity of the murder victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
