Four people, including two juveniles, were arrested after a robbery sparked a police chase across the city before the suspects were taken into custody, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The incident began Saturday at the Walmart near Thousand Oaks Drive and Nacogdoches Road, according to a community safety update from San Antonio police.

A vehicle was burglarized, then a woman was assaulted and robbed. Police did not say what was stolen.

Investigators identified a Hyundai sedan believed to have been used in the incident and tracked it to the Embassy Oaks area. An officer then found the vehicle at the Walmart near Blanco Road and Wurzbach Parkway.

Police said the car itself turned up as stolen.

When officers approached, the driver sped off, sparking a pursuit toward the South Side, police said. The vehicle eventually came to a stop, and all four occupants ran away.

Police arrested all four suspects shortly afterward without incident. Authorities identified those taken into custody as an adult man, an adult woman and two boys.

They are expected to face charges of robbery, unauthorized use of vehicle, criminal mischief, and organized criminal activity. Some of them were wanted on separate charges, police said.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more details become available.
