Officials say the motorcycle collided with a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck near Skillman Street and La Vista Drive late Sunday.

DALLAS — One person was killed after a motorcycle collided with a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck late Sunday, officials say. 

Officers were called to the crash near Skillman Street and La Vista Drive around 8:30 p.m. and found a man on a motorcycle heading northbound on Skillman Street had collided with a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck that was turning left onto westbound La Vista Drive, officials say. 

The unknown driver was taken to a local hospital, where he died. The man wasn’t identified. 

The investigation into the crash remains active. No other details about the crash were immediately available.
