Multi-Grammy award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Chicago are coming back to the Sun City! The band will perform at the Plaza Theatre on March 4, 2026, managed by Legends Global. Tickets are already on sale at elpasolive.com/events/chicago, and fans are buzzing for the return of one of the most iconic rock groups in history.
A Band That’s Been Part Of El Paso’s Soundtrack For Decades
This won’t be Chicago’s first time lighting up El Paso. Their connection to the city stretches all the way back to 1971, when they first took the stage at the El Paso County Coliseum, then returned again the very next year. Through the 1970s, Chicago made multiple stops here, including concerts at the El Paso Civic Center, and by the 2000s, they were selling out the Plaza Theatre again and again.
The band’s enduring mix of horns, harmonies, and heart has made them a perfect fit for El Paso’s energy: soulful, timeless, and unafraid to jam. Fans still recall their unforgettable 2018 Plaza Theatre show, a night full of hits like “Saturday in the Park” and “25 or 6 to 4.” Most recently, in 2022, they rocked the Abraham Chavez Theatre, keeping their streak of El Paso performances alive across six different decades.
Still Making Magic After All These Years
Now, as they prepare to return in 2026, El Paso audiences are once again ready to sing along to some of the most beloved songs in rock history. Few bands have such a deep connection to our city’s live music legacy. Chicago’s performances have become a thread woven through generations of local fans.
Whether you’ve been following them since the vinyl days or just discovered their sound through your parents’ playlists, this is one concert you don’t want to miss.
Chicago returns to the Plaza Theatre on March 4, 2026. Get your tickets now at elpasolive.com/events/chicago before they’re gone because history is about to repeat itself in the best possible way.
