Police are investigating a shooting early Thursday morning in south Fort Worth that left a neighborhood crime scene tape for hours.

Officers responded shortly after 1:30 a.m. to the 6700 block of Glenbrook Lane, near the Fort Worth-Crowley border.

In a release police said when they responded they found a juvenile shot inside the residence.  He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

WFAA’s photojournalist captured officers looking for evidence around vehicles parked on the street. and police said they are investigating the shooting as a drive-by.

The name of the victim has not yet been made public.
