Ella Langley is choosing Fort Worth as the backdrop for her music video for her latest hit song, ‘Choosin’ Texas.’
Langley chose the legendary Stagecoach Ballroom as the main venue of her new music video for the western heritage and iconic live music scene.
The cinematic music video also spotlights rich Texas tradition venues throughout Fort Worth, including the Historic Stockyards.
“When Ella chose Stagecoach Ballroom for this production, it felt like she was bringing a heartbeat back to our dance floor. This entire production came together in just two weeks. Working closely with Lukas Lennon, Wale Toney with Whale Tail Music, and the whole community of Fort Worth shows the collaborative spirit of the city,” said Julia Paur of the Stagecoach Ballroom.
Also featured in the video are several cameos from country music stars to the cast of Yellowstone. Cameos include Yellowstone’s Luke Grimes, actress Ava Phillippe, country music stars Miranda Lambert, Kaitlin Butts, Casey Donahew, Wade Bowen, Mike Ryan, Shea Fisher, and rodeo stars JB Mauney, Dale Brisby, Tyson Durfey, Shad Mayfield, and Leighton Berry.
Directed by Langley herself, Wales Toney, and Caylee Robillard, the film showcased Texas traditions such as two-stepping, live music, and rodeo performances.
‘Choosin’ Texas’ made its premiere on Wednesday, April 1, across multiple live music channels and the Paramount Times Square billboards. The song has topped the Hot 100 on Billboard and earned a platinum certification.
Langley’s new album “Dandelion” comes out Friday, April 10. The Stagecoach Ballroom will host a listening party for the new album on the day of the release. The venue will have exclusive merchandise and the album on site.
Langley kicks off her world tour in May, which concludes at Dickie’s Arena on Saturday, August 15.
