The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office says a 27-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash Monday evening near the intersection of Fox River Drive and Griswold Springs Road south of Plano.

Police say only one vehicle was involved. It was traveling south on Fox River Drive when it left the roadway and struck a tree stump. The crash happened at about 5:50 p.m.

The 27-year-old driver was taken to the hospital by the Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District.

The sheriff’s office says the crash remains under investigation.
