AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin police department is investigating a homicide in east Austin.
According to police, the homicide happened near the 8200 block of Tuscany Way, close to U.S. 290.
Officers say they will be holding a media briefing at 9:20 p.m. Thursday evening to provide more updates.
A CBS Austin crew member is currently on scene.
