COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 11 Georgia Bulldogs (27-9, 6-4) dropped the series opener, 3-2, to Texas A&M (record) on Thursday night at Davis Diamond.

RHP Presley Harrison made the start in the circle going 2.1 innings with six hits and two earned runs. Four other Bulldogs pitched in relief with RHP Addisen Fisher being tagged with the loss to slide to 8-2 on the season.
Senior Marisa Miller went 2-3 at the plate in the loss with a game-tying two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning. Georgia tallied four hits in the loss.
The Aggies batted 7-23 as a team in the game. Micaela Wark, Mya Perez and Maddie Sauni all recorded RBIs.
Sydney Lessentine went 6.0 innings in the win for Texas A&M to move to 10-3 on the year.
Georgia still maintains a 19-10 all-time record against the Aggies.
