AUSTIN, Texas — The Beach Boys will headline a free concert at the University of Texas Saturday after the Longhorns’ SEC home opener against Vanderbilt, the school announced Monday.
They will perform on the LBJ Lawn as part of Longhorn City Limits. Austin band The Nightowls will open at 8:30 a.m., with The Beach Boys taking the stage approximately 15 minutes after the football game, which kicks off at 11 a.m.

“The Beach Boys are true American trailblazers whose music continues to bring joy to audiences across generations,” said Chris Del Conte, Texas’ vice president and athletics director.
The LBJ Lawn opens at 8 a.m. and admission is free.
