CSP’s C-StoreTEC event kicked off Monday in Plano, Texas, with convenience-store retailers, IT leaders, marketers and innovators on site to discuss the latest technology opportunities in the c-store industry.Â
CSP hosts C-StoreTEC in partnership with NexChapter, a Des Moines-based consulting firm that helps retailers with loyalty, retail media and digital commerce strategy.
C-StoreTEC, which runs through Wednesday, will feature retailers from 7-Eleven, Love’s Travel Stops, Circle K, QuikTrip, RaceTrac, Sheetz and Weigel’s sharing insights and experiences aimed at propelling the industry toward greater efficiency, engagement and growth.Â
“Technology is redefining our industry,” said Art Sebastian, founder and CEO of NexChapter, as he opened the conference. “It’s not just about computers, systems and infrastructure… that technology has enabled mobile apps, loyalty programs, personalization, AI and more.”

Janeth Falcon, vice president of North America Technology at Circle K, will share how one of the world’s largest convenience retailers is modernizing its tech stack, digitizing stores at scale and building a culture where technology is core to the business.When Marketing Meets IT: How RaceTrac Bridges the Gap to Drive Impact. Jamie Miller and Tyler Grubbs of RaceTrac will reveal how their marketing and technology teams collaborate to create seamless customer experiences, modernize loyalty and make data-driven decisions that drive growth.Retail Media in Motion: Lessons from the Road at Love’s. Tommy Greenberg, general manager of Love’s Media Group at Love’s Travel Stops, will share how the chain is approaching retail media, from building internal alignment and evaluating tech partners to shaping a clear vision.
Sessions at the three-day program will address navigating constraints, choosing partners, deploying new tools, marketing and technology collaboration, artificial intelligence (AI), data-driven loyalty, foodservice technology, building tech teams and more.
