A collision has closed all main lanes on Interstate 35E at FM 3040/Round Grove Road heading southbound in Lewisville.
The collision was confirmed at 4:42 a.m., and emergency services responded to the scene. The cause of the accident is unknown.
Roads are expected to clear by 11:00 a.m, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Travel is discouraged to help reduce congestion and clear the roads. Motorists should plan alternate routes.
The Denton County Sheriff’s Office and Lewisville police did not respond to requests for immediate comment.
