Did you mean to nominate your employer for this year’s Top Workplace, but time slipped away from you? Never fear, we’ve got you covered — the deadline has been extended.
Any organization in the metro area with 35 or more employees — be it a public or private company, a nonprofit or a government agency — is eligible to take part. If you have an employer that should be considered for the 2026 San Antonio Express-News Top Workplaces awards, you now have until May 15 to do so.
This is the 18th year that the Express-News has teamed up with Pennsylvania-based Energage to discover the area’s standout workplaces. Anyone can nominate an organization for no charge by going to mysanantonio.com/nominate or by calling 210-348-3758.
Nominated companies will be surveyed by our research partner through mid-June. Employees will be asked to fill out a 26-question survey that takes just minutes to complete.
Companies are separated into small, midsize and large categories based on their number of employees in the region.
Those that score highest among their peers in categories such as effective leadership, strong values and clear direction for the company will be selected as Top Workplace winners. The top organizations will be honored this fall in a special section of the San Antonio Express-News and at our annual awards ceremony.
Energage conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 70 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year. The process is based on a scientific survey of employees who rate their workplace culture. It also gives companies insight into what makes them unique.
