CIBOLO, Texas – A wanted fugitive accused of violating bond conditions in a manslaughter and theft case was arrested Thursday.
The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office said that on April 3, 2026, it assisted SAPD in locating and apprehending Aris Jamal Ransom-Powell, who was wanted on a motion to revoke bond for manslaughter and theft.
Authorities said Ransom-Powell has an extensive criminal history that includes weapons charges, manufacturing and delivery of narcotics, multiple thefts, failure to identify, and bail jumping.
In coordination with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed arrest warrants in the 300 block of Hinge Loop in Cibolo, where a stolen vehicle was also located and recovered, the sheriff’s office said.
Ransom-Powell was taken into custody without incident or injury, according to the sheriff’s office.
