EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The 49th Annual Northeaster Parade is set to bring celebration and community spirit to the borderland this weekend.
The parade will begin at 4931 Diana Street on Saturday at 10 a.m., inviting residents and visitors to take part in the longstanding neighborhood tradition.
This year’s event embraces the theme “America 250,” encouraging volunteers and participants to help celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Organizers say the parade aims to highlight unity, culture, and local pride while honoring the community.
A major highlight of the event will be the appearance of boxer Stephanie Han, who will lead the festivities as Grand Marshal.
In addition to the parade procession, attendees can expect a festive atmosphere featuring community groups, performances, and family-friendly activities.
The Mimibela Family and event partners invite everyone to attend, support, and celebrate together.
More information, including volunteer opportunities, can be found through the parade’s website and social media channels.
