EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Electric will host a series of public meetings across Doña Ana County next week to engage with customers and share information on utility-related matters that impact the region.

One of the topics that is sure to be discussed is a proposed rate increase for El Paso Electric’s New Mexico customers.

Here is a schedule of the meetings.

Tuesday, April 7 — 4 to 6 p.m., Doña Ana Community College East Mesa, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., Las Cruces

Wednesday, April 8 — 4 to 6 p.m., Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E Picacho Ave., Las Cruces

Thursday, April 9 — 4 to 6:30 p.m., Sunland Park Sports Complex, 4700 McNutt Rd.

These meetings are part of ongoing efforts to connect with customers, provide updates, and answer questions related to electric service, system planning, and future needs in New Mexico, El Paso Electric said.
