LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – While not everyone got in on the rain action last night, a good amount of the South Plains did. Lubbock picked up close to 0.1″ of rain with some of our southern/southeastern counties collecting much more than that.

TODAY
A cold front from last night will keep our high temperatures a bit suppressed at around 70 degrees.
Winds will slow slightly as temperatures top out only around the 70 degree mark for most.(Dylan Smith)
Winds will be a bit breezy to start the day but we’ll see those calm down to a lighter breeze throughout the afternoon and evening hours.
TONIGHT
Quiet and chilly. Temperatures will drop to the lower 40s for most as we push into Easter morning. Winds remain a light breeze of around 5 to 15 mph.

Chilly start, beautiful day! High temperatures once again only top out around 70 degrees but winds will be more pleasant all day with more sunshine throughout the day.
NEXT WEEK
An unsettled weather pattern persists into next week. We’ll see some light rain chances Tuesday and then what’s looking a touch more promising as far as rain chances go heading into next Thursday and Friday.
