SPC Alumni Elite Invite Results
LUBBOCK, Texas (April 4, 2026) – The Lubbock Christian University track & Field team was split three different ways for competition this week with athletes competing at the Texas Relays, the Bobcat Invitational and the SPC Alumni Elite Invite Thursday through Saturday.
Only a handful of Chaps and Lady Chaps made the trip to Austin to compete in the prestigious Texas Relays, including both of LCU’s 4X400-meter relay teams. The men’s team consisting of Daniel Sianez, Aden Soto, Reuel Campbell and Chris Moffett recorded the third-fastest time in Division II this season and an NCAA provisional mark, completing the race with a time of 3:09.75. The women’s team of Elizabeth Florez, Joy Egwu, Kerrigan Huynh and Jozlyn Arana posted a time of 3:47.92.
Rudy Gomez competed in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.55, Jaqualand Fields ran a 55.94 in the same event, and Olivia Weider took 11th in the steeplechase with a time of 11:18.46.
Campbell and Sianez also competed at the Bobcat Invitational, both recording provisional marks in the 400-meter. The pair took fourth and fifth, respectively, with Campbell recording a time of 46.86 and Sianez finishing in 46.95.
Nathaniel Luna also got a provisional time at the meet, in the 200-meter. He finished the race in a time of 21.05.
The Lady Chaps also recorded a provisional mark at the Bobcat Invitational, marking their first of the 2026 outdoor season. Florez ran the 400-meter with a time of 55.31, finishing 11th in the event.
Matthew Gordon tied for fifth in the 800-meter, posting a time of 1:51.01 that is less than half a second shy of a provisional mark. Alfons Rawall also had a top five finish in the steeplechase, posting a time of 9:37.40.
In Levelland, the Chaps got a trip of top-10 finishes in the 200-meter, where Nevaeh Anderson, Landon Lee and Kole Carrasco finished 8, 9 and 10, respectively. Anderson also took seventh in the 400-meter with a time of 48.56.
On the women’s side, there was a top 10 finish in the 400-meter as well, as Vida Mora took seventh, completing the race in 59.36.
Lubbock Christian will next be in competition April 9-11 at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multis, hosted by West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas.
