Easter Sunday looks somewhat sunny in North Texas. Is the rainy weather behind us?
After a Saturday filled with showers and thunderstorms, Sunday is starting mostly sunny with day temperatures topping out near 70 degrees with wind gusts reaching as high as 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to dip to a low around 49 degrees with a gentle breeze of 5 to 10 mph.
The upcoming week is looking sunny and clear for the most parts until Wednesday before the chances of showers and thunderstorms return Thursday night. The wet weather is expected to continue through most of the coming weekend.
Day temperatures throughout the week are expected to be in the 70s and 80s. At night, the lows are likely to be in 40s and 50s.
