LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Police are investigating after 32-year-old Justin Collins was found with serious injuries in the area of 113th Street and Athens Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
The report of shots fired came in at 12:18 p.m. Officers found Collins with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to UMC for treatment, where his injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Police believe Collins was shot at a house in the 11200 block of Athens Avenue, and that this is an isolated incident.
