The 2026 Valero Texas Open will crown a champion Sunday night at TPC San Antonio. This is the final tournament on the PGA Tour before the Masters. There’s a big trophy and big money on the line in San Antonio, where there could also be an invitation to Augusta National should the winner not already be qualified.
Weather has been a subplot all week in Texas. The third round was suspended due to thunderstorms just before 1 p.m. ET on Saturday and never resumed as heavy rain caused water to pool up on the greens and fairways. The third round is set to resume at 8:45 a.m. ET on Sunday and golfers will play straight through the final round with no regrouping.

Sunday’s forecast calls for another soggy day in San Antonio. There’s at least a 60 percent chance of rain from midnight until 1 p.m. local time, meaning the weather could again have a major impact on the Valero Texas Open.
Robert MacIntyre held a two-shot lead at 15 under when play was suspended just before 1 p.m. ET on Saturday. MacIntyre finished six holes in his third round and was 1 under for the day. Ludvig Aberg sat in solo second overnight at 13 under, one shot clear of a tie for third between Matt Wallace and Ryo Hisatsune.
