ICE has been conducting a roundup of criminal illegal aliens in the Houston area Monday, resulting in several arrests.

According to multiple reports, federal agents were first seen in the morning in a neighborhood near the corner of W. Southmore at Shaver, where Pasadena police were assisting an operation led by the US Department of Homeland Security to arrest suspected criminals named in federal warrants.

It was Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) who were holding warrants for the arrests of a number of people, resulting in several people being taken into custody.

One person tried to avoid arrest by running from agents, but he was caught at a nearby washateria.

ICE was said to be conducting raids in several areas around the City of Pasadena.

Word of the arrests spread through the neighborhood and a crowd began to gather near Dade at Rustic, but police were called in to break it up.
