A man was taken into custody early Sunday after a stabbing incident in northwest Dallas, according to the Dallas Police Department.

Officers responded at about 12:22 a.m. to a stabbing call in the 10200 block of Harry Hines Boulevard.

A preliminary investigation determined that “49-year-old Ricky Musgrove was cut on the chest while assaulting a person at the location,” police said.

Officers located Musgrove and took him into custody, according to authorities. The victim did not require medical treatment.

Musgrove is charged with Assault Family Violence – Impeding Breath or Circulation with no Loss of Consciousness, police said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
