The unidentified man was taken to a hospital for treatment and is in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon.

Officers then observed someone who matched the suspected shooter’s description near a convenience store in the area and detained him, the statement said.

Investigators learned the man was part of a group of three individuals who allegedly targeted the victim before shooting him in the groin, the statement says.

No further details about the shooting were immediately available.
