After a sunny Easter Sunday, North Texans can expect another day of warm, spring-like weather to start the work week although April showers are forecast to return toward the end of the week.
Monday is forecast to be sunny with temperatures topping out at 73 degrees, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. A light wind of up to 5 mph is expected into the evening.
Nighttime temperatures will be in the 50s with skies expected to get increasingly cloudy.
The rest of the week is forecast to have highs in the mid-70s and 80s with lows in the 50s and 60s, the weather service said.
Chances of rain return Friday afternoon and remain throughout the weekend, according to the weather service.
