Firefighters in Fort Worth battled a house fire Morning morning that raised concerns about a possible roof collapse and hazardous conditions inside the home.

Crews were called to the 4200 block of Frazier Avenue around 8 a.m. There they found a one-story, wood-frame house with heavy fire, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.

Emergency callers reported that residents inside the home were initially unwilling to evacuate, fire officials said. Crews worked to safely remove anyone inside. No injuries had been reported.

Firefighters encountered hoarding-like conditions inside the home, creating additional obstacles as crews worked to access and extinguish the flames, officials said. Additionally, during firefighting operations, firefighters warned of a possible collapse on one side of the roof.

Fire crews confirm three adults have been displaced. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
