EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A new McDonald’s restaurant celebrated its opening of a new location in Northeast El Paso on March 26.
Owner, William “Bill” Story and his wife, Monika Story, held a grand opening for their fifth McDonald’s restaurant, located at 8500 Dyer Street, across from Sunrise Shopping Center.
Bill Story has been a part of the McDonald’s team for over 40 years and claims that the new restaurant reflects a commitment to quality, community and growth, while
honoring the roots that shaped its success.
Story began his career at McDonald’s as a cook and rose through the ranks to become an Owner/Operator, with Monika as a “strong partner” supporting the growth and success of the business.
The restaurant aims to provide exceptional food and service while continuing to create jobs and
contributing to the local economy.
“McDonald’s is a powerful company and opportunity for people like myself to move up,” Story told KTSM. “You got to be willing to do whatever it takes, if you just do what everybody else does, you’re just going to be everybody else.”
Story expressed his appreciation for the McDonald’s team and says that they are what makes him successful now. He recently just started a 401K for all employees.
“Northeast El Paso has always been special to me and we’re proud to continue growing here. We are pleased to invite the community to join us to celebrate this new restaurant.”
