“Every town in Texas has a story worth telling. These murals will bring the creativity, character and spirit of these communities to life,” said Susanne Brady-Lusk, president of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages.
Each winning city will receive a one-of-a-kind mural designed to reflect its history, culture and identity, with organizers describing the works as future landmarks meant to bring people together while highlighting what makes each community special.
All three murals are expected to be completed ahead of Independence Day.
