City inspectors to conduct code enforcement sweep in Slaton Bean neighborhood

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – City inspectors will conduct code inspections in the Slaton Bean neighborhood Tuesday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Code enforcement will set up a field office at Mose Hood Park at 27th and Avenue P. Residents can ask questions or report violations at the office.

A roll-off dumpster will be provided near the office for residents who need to dispose of bulky items like furniture, appliances or tree branches.

Inspectors will look for junked vehicles, nuisance weeds and rubbish, substandard housing and zoning violations.
