EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police released the mugshot of the woman seen in a viral video where she was struck by an officer while being arrested for a warrant.
Police said the woman, identified as 28-year-old Kelcee Renee Hufford, was wanted on a family violence-related charge.
She was taken into custody on Wednesday after allegedly refusing to comply with law enforcement officers, according to the El Paso Police Department.
Police say that during the encounter, Hufford did not comply with officers’ commands.
In the video, you can see two officers inside a house engaged in a physical struggle with a woman.
The video shows the officers trying to arrest the woman while the woman is resting.
The woman is seen screaming while another woman records.
In the video, the woman being arrested claims she was tased three times and says the officers are “holding her hostage.”

The woman also asks the officers for their badge numbers.
At one point, one of the officers punches the woman’s head.
You can also hear the officer call the woman Kelce and say, “Kelcee, you have a warrant for your arrest.”
The video also shows more officers responding to the scene.
The woman is heard screaming, “I can’t breathe.”

The woman recording is presumably the mom of the woman getting arrested.
The “mom” tells one of the officers her daughter has autism.
As a result, authorities report that Hufford was also arrested on an additional charge of Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transport.
Following her arrest, Hufford was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on both charges.
She was later released on a personal recognizance bond.
Police stated that the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
