SAN ANTONIO – A suspect has been arrested in connection with a brutal shooting that left a man dead.
Around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported shooting near the corner of Roveen Trail and Sunshine Trail Drive.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located Noel Denzel Miller, 35, in an upstairs bedroom suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.
Deputies secured the residence and initiated a homicide investigation, where they located several shell casings and bullet damage throughout the home.
A woman inside the home said that she and Miller had just returned home when she heard several gunshots from the restroom.
She then found Miller wounded with multiple gunshot wounds, and the suspect, whom she identified as her ex-boyfriend, Shiateek Wilson, 23, was armed with a handgun.
Wilson briefly took her cellphone before fleeing on foot. He was found by deputies about a mile away, shortly after fleeing the scene.
According to the sheriff’s office, during questioning, Wilson admitted to shooting Miller, claiming self-defense.
He allegedly said he went to the witness’s home around 1:00 a.m., hid inside her daughter’s closet, drank a “BeatBox” alcoholic beverage, and watched videos while waiting for her to return.
Wilson also allegedly claimed he intended to surprise the witness with flowers, money, and cocaine.
Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for murder, and Shiateek Wilson was arrested and booked at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center.
