In just a few days the streets of El Paso will be filled with super heroes and princesses walking around collecting candy! In the past few years many parents have opted for a safer way to trick-or-treat and they take their kids to local Halloween carnivals or trunk-or-treats.

Well, If you’re trick-or-treating in El Paso this Halloween, you can rest easy because there’s a new study by Action Network that just ranked El Paso as the #2 safest city in America for Halloween 2025 which means parents can take their little ones trick-or-treating without having to worry!

According to the Trick-or-Treat Risk Index (which, yes, is apparently a real thing), El Paso’s chances of a Halloween-related incident are just 11%, compared to the 35% national average. This means that El Paso is nearly three times safer than the average U.S. city on Halloween night.

Here’s Why El Paso ranks #2 Safest City For Halloween

Researchers say our low violent crime rate, low DUI numbers, and strong community vibe make El Paso a standout. (Ok so I scratched my head when it came to the DUI numbers, but i do agree with everything else.)

El Paso came in right behind Arlington, Texas who ranked as the #1 safest city overall. We also ranked higher than major metros like Miami, New York, and Las Vegas.
