LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A Lubbock County grand jury has reindicted a 27-year-old man for a murder that happened eight years ago and for aggravated robbery.
Devante Greathouse was initially indicted, along with Xavier Garcia, for the murder of Kmydron Jordan Dec. 2018.
Greathouse and Garcia were arrested earlier that year in connection with Jordan’s death.

According to previous KCBD reports, Lubbock County Sheriff’s deputies found Jordan with a gunshot in a car in the area of 84th St. and Ave. N on Jan. 12, 2018.
The Lubbock Police Department had investigators take over the investigation and identified Garcia and Greathouse as the suspected murderers. On Nov. 29, 2018, arrest warrants were issued for the two men.
Garcia, however, was already in jail for the murder of Katrina Castillo.

Greathouse was then arrested around 3:15 p.m. that same day by Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center investigators in the area of FM 1585 and Brownfield Highway.
