EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — It’s Mutt Monday at KTSM!
This week, our friends from El Paso Animal Services brought a precious boy, who still needs a name, for us to meet and hang out with.
Día de los Muertos is in just a few days. People will pay their respects and remember friends and family members who have died. El Paso Animal Services is reminding everyone that Monday, Oct. 27, is also a day to remember long-lost, beloved pets.
This year, Animal Services is debuting its first-ever Community Pet Ofrenda at the Mexican American Cultural Center. It’s on display now through November 9.
El Paso Animal Services is currently caring for more than 800 pets in its shelters. They tell KTSM that you can honor your pet’s memory by helping those still waiting for a home.
On Wednesday, Oct. 29, Animal Services will also host a Night Walk with their Rescue Runners partners. They’re inviting the public to stop by and take one of the dogs in their shelter for an evening stroll. Sign-ups can be found at RescueRunners.org.
Animal Services and KTSM are ready to help you find your perfect match.
For more information on adoptions and events you can attend in your area, you can always visit the El Paso Animal Services online.
