
City of El Paso hosts free Earth Day celebration this Saturday
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso invites the public to a free Earth Day celebration this Saturday, April 11.
“Mission: Save the Earth” will be held at the Municipal Service Center, located at 7968 San Paulo Dr., from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In an interview with KTSM, Environmental Services Department Director Nick Ybarra said that they will be hosting a variety of booths and vendors at the event.
“We have our Earth Day celebration on an annual basis,” Ybarra said. “It’s open to the public and free for everybody.”
The celebration will feature games, music, food, and more.
DJ Mazo Vibe and DJ Johnny Cage will be presenting the whole day of the event. Ybarra expressed appreciation towards the DJs and recognized them as ‘standard at Environmental Services, as they come back year after year’.
Event schedule:
7 pm: Performance by DJ Mazo Vibe
7:30 pm: Mascot Flash Mob
8 pm: Performance by Johnny Kage
8:15 pm: RoboTRON joins the celebration
